After a year of fighting to bring back Area 702 Indoor Skate Park’s concerts, and without approval for concerts in the new Decatur and Oquindo Skate Park location, the chances of more concerts were dim. Then the opportunity arose for an open air all ages venue in Downtown Las Vegas, and The Junkyard @ 702 was born. Located on the corner of 1st St and Garces, the lot will be transformed into a fully loaded stage, lighting and sound system ready for headlining and local acts alike. With the ability to bring in vendors for food, merch and booze, the venue immediately sets itself apart from the rest of the all age options in the Vegas valley.
Kicking off the series will be March 2nd for First Friday with WINDS OF PLAGUE, ERRA, ELITIST, Aechoes, Beyond The Surface, These Lying Eyes, We Gave It Hell, I Am of Terra
